It's Almost Here
A Few Honest Words Before Sunday
Sunday, the book comes out.
I keep trying to write something clever to say in these final few days. A good line. Something worth sharing. Every draft sounds like marketing.
So here’s the plain version:
I wrote The Shift because I needed it. Because at the peak of what looked like success, I was the most functional wreck I’d ever been. High output. High performance. Running on empty and calling it dedication.
And when my body finally called the bluff—when the nerve condition showed up and the doctors found the aneurysm—I ran out of willpower tricks. Out of mindset reframes. Out of reasons why this time the new system would stick.
What I found instead is what this book is about.
Not a new framework. Not a morning routine. The fundamental thing that comes before all of that—and makes change actually possible.
Sunday. It’s here. Order The Shiftf

P.S. New Square Peg Round Hole podcast episode is live: “I Cussed God Out for Six Months.” If you want the unpolished version of how this book came to exist—that’s it.
