Are You Guilty of Overthinking?

Life Is Only As Hard is You Think It Is

Share

Do you catch yourself overthinking? Probably. Most of us do. And while it seems harmless enough, it’s not. Overthinking comes with consequences.

This is especially true when we overthink what we think others think about us. (Sounds ridiculous when you think about it, right?) But that’s what we do.

If you could stop overthinking, you could also stop doing the following:

  • Pretend to agree with everyone

  • Take responsibility for how others feel

  • Apologize often or always say yes

  • Feel uncomfortable if someone disapproves of you

  • Act like the people around you

  • Need praise to feel good

  • Go to great lengths to avoid conflict

  • Succumb to the pressure of fitting in

  • Believe you are less than others

  • Tolerate toxic people

And that’s just the beginning. I can’t wait for you to listen to Episode 19 and find some long-needed encouragement on how to lighten up your life.
